Why I Started Insightsman: More Than Just a Data Analyst

Hi, I’m just someone starting out in the world of data, and Insightsman is my place to learn, share, and grow. I didn’t start this blog because I have all the answers. I started it because I don’t.

I want to get better at working with data. I also want to get better at expressing myself, turning numbers and charts into clear, simple insights. That’s why I’m here. That’s why Insightsman exists.

📚 A Personal Journey

When I first got curious about data, I saw people building dashboards, writing code, running models—and honestly, it all felt overwhelming. But over time, I realized something powerful: all those numbers are just a way to say something. A way to explain. A way to tell a story.

And that’s the part I love most.

🎨 Data Storytelling Is an Art

To me, data storytelling isn’t about fancy tools or complicated formulas. It’s the art of using visuals and structure to show what matters. A good chart can tell you where you’re doing well and where you're falling short. A clean table or a smart visual layout can guide your thinking better than a thousand words.

That’s what I want to learn. That’s what I want to share.

🤝 An Open Invitation

Insightsman isn’t a place for polished perfection. It’s a place for progress. I’ll be posting about:

  • The tools I’m learning (Power BI, Python, R—whatever comes my way)

  • The challenges I face as a beginner

  • The little wins and insights I discover along the road

This is an open invitation to anyone else who’s curious about data. If you’re just starting, you’re not alone. If you’re already deep into it, maybe you’ll find something refreshing in a beginner’s point of view. Either way, I’d love to walk this road with you.

Let’s talk data. Let’s tell better stories.
Welcome to Insightsman.
